E-Collar Obedience Refresher + Conditioning (with Off-Leash Upgrade Option)

Who this is for?

Past clients whose dogs previously completed one of ourBasic Obedience programs, and want a refresher plus e-collar conditioning
New clients who trained elsewhere (completed basic obedience) and want to upgrade into our off-leash/high obedience program

Goal of the program

Refresh your dog’s obedience foundation and add clear, consistent communication through proper e-collar conditioning so your dog can respond faster and more reliably.

This is not about “turning the collar up.” It’s about teaching your dog what the sensation means, pairing it with commands they already know, and building dependable follow-through.

E-Collar equipment + how we condition

E-collars we use and recommend are E-Collar Technologies.

Your dog is conditioned to work on the lowest level possible—just enough to communicate clearly—so they can understand, respond, and comply without confusion.

Important: The e-collar device is not included in program pricing. Clients can either:

Purchase an approved e-collar from us, or
Purchase an approved device elsewhere (we’ll confirm it’s a good fit before training begins)

What we’ll work on

We’ll review and strengthen the obedience your dog already learned, including:

Recall (come)
Sit
Down
Place
Leash manners / heel (as appropriate)
Duration, distance, and distraction proofing

Then we’ll add:

Proper e-collar fit and safety rules
Finding your dog’s working level
Conditioning the e-collar to known commands
Clear “on/off” communication and follow-through
Real-world practice (controlled distractions)

Option A: E-Collar Conditioning Refresher (past clients)

A focused refresher for dogs who already completed our Basic Obedience program.

Obedience refresher focused on reliability
E-collar conditioning and handler coaching
Step-by-step homework plan so you know exactly what to practice
Guidance on best practices for use at home (when to use it, when not to)

Investment

$300 — past clients only

Option B: Upgrade to Off-Leash Obedience (High Obedience)

If you want the next level—off-leash reliability and high obedience—you can upgrade into our Off-Leash Obedience program.

Pricing

$1,000 — past clients (completed our Basic Obedience)
$1,500 — new clients (completed basic obedience elsewhere)

Included at no additional cost

If you choose the Off-Leash Obedience upgrade, your $300 e-collar conditioning is included inside the package at no additional cost.

In other words: you get the e-collar conditioning layer built into the off-leash program—we don’t charge extra for it.

Requirements 

Dog must have completed a basic obedience program (with us or elsewhere)
Owner participation is required (this is a handling skill as much as a dog skill)
E-collar must be approved and in good working condition (device not included)
